Ready for Summer

We have been enjoying as much outside as mother nature will allow as spring/summer weather has begun to roll in.  Brian has ONE WEEK left of Kindergarten and my preschool will finish up on Wednesday.  Soccer has ended, work stuff is winding down into summer mode...we can taste the freedom!  Lazy days, days at the pool, walks and bike rides, hanging outside withe the neighbors, a week at the beach...and thanks to my very lucky children who have won just about every raffle they have entered over the last few months we'll also be hitting the zoo, Kings Island, the Cincinnati Nature Center, the Krohn butterfly exhibit AND enjoying all of these wonderful, awesome items...

Yeah.  They won all of that.  Specifically Lilah won all of that.  Brian won some of the tickets, but it was mostly a bunch of Lilah scores.  As Pappy said, she is one lucky little s***.  He's right.

We have also taken a speech break for summer, or at least part of the summer, so we will only have 1 OT appointment every other week.  This is a MAJOR difference for us!  We will, of course, be working on speech almost daily, but it's much less of a production to do it at home.  The drive time alone saves us 45 minutes round trip!

Since it's been pretty warm, we've already been getting in lots of outside time.  The kids ask to play in the sprinkler or on the slip n slide daily.  I love it!!
