We are spending Thanksgiving in New York City this year and we are all so excited! We have already had TWO traditional Thanksgiving meals (Brian has had 3) so we are ready for something a little less traditional!
Mom attended Brian's Thanksgiving Mass last Wednesday where the kids dressed as natives and brought toys to be donated to a charity.
Lilah performed in her last Preschool Thanksgiving performance last Friday night. She was so excited for this event. She insisted that she needed a special dress so I took her shopping :) She was so cute singing her little songs.
Then on Saturday we had our Friend Thanksgiving which is something I always look forward to. It is always nice to have everyone (or close to everyone) together before the insanity of "the holidays" begins.
Today Brian had a Thanksgiving Feast at school complete with some sort of turkey dance I'm told. He came running out of school in his native attire with a smile on his face.
Here are my two little turkeys at a couple of their events...
And that, my friends, officially catches me up! Whew. Next up....New York!!

Memorial
The guys at Hidden Valley Golf Club where Dad golfed for years and was President for a long time, made sure we knew how much they loved him. They must have brought a couple of buses to the visitation! And before Dad was even buried they had changed their marquee in his memory.
They decided early on that they would have a bolder placed in a prominent place at the course to honor Dad's memory and contributions to the club. They invited us up for a ceremony where the bolder was unveiled. It was so nice of them to do all that they did.

Last Reds Game
The last Reds game of the season was super emotional....kind of like the end of an era for our family. This was one activity we all enjoyed together, and Mom and Dad had season tickets that they enjoyed for the past several years. Mom decided not to renew for next year (which was a very logical decision), and it's not as if we will never go again, we definitely will... but we still shed some tears as this part of our life ended.
The pictures are happy pictures though :)

Fall Fun and Halloween 2015
We have been blessed with a warm fall so we have been able to continue our summer trend of being outside a lot! We've had lots of park days, time with cousins, family and friends. We visited several pumpkin patches! Halloween was super exciting for the kids this year. They trick-or-treated almost the entire 2 hours which is the first year they've done that! Lilah was a peacock and Brian was Luke Skywalker.
And now for the photo dump...

Soccer
This soccer season marked the first that both of our kids were playing! Brian moved to a team with most of his classmates and Lilah was on the "cousins team" with her Daddy as coach! We had a lot of fun with both teams. Brian's team was in a tournament at the end of the season and they won a silver medal!
