The Big Girl Room

After much insanity trying to get this room together for Lilah, she is finally sleeping in her own bed tonight.  Well, she has started off the night in her own bed.  No promises as to whether or not she will stay there!

Last weekend I mentioned that we had a mattress issue.  The issue was that we thought the extra mattress/box spring set at my parents' house was full sized.  It was queen.  Of course we did not know this until we hauled it out of their house, onto the top of their minivan, up our stairs and into Lilah's room.  We were so convinced that it was a full that we actually hauled both pieces up the stairs before we even attempted to put them on the bed.  Fail.

So we hauled them back.

Then last night we bought a full size mattress and box spring.  More issues...

It is not okay when your two year old can turn her ceiling fan on and off from a sitting position on her bed.  Fail.

Soooo, the box spring is going back.  It's under the bed right now.  We will deal with it as soon as possible, but for now, she has her own bed.

She's pretty excited!

And for now, she's out!

UPDATE!  She slept for 12 hours all by herself!!!  She was so proud!
