Brian and I are home from his surgery (Shawn had to go to work). He had rough morning. He was extremely difficult. We ended up having to let them give him a calming drug before anesthesia! Thankfully it worked and we got his stupid bracelet on him (around his ankle). He never did wear the hospital gown and went straight for his IV as soon as he woke up. He' s a tough little guy.
The surgery went well and took about 25 minutes. He was really cranky in recovery, but calmed down once he got his lolly. That's exactly what everyone wants after surgery, right? A sugary lolly pop. Gross! Whatever works, right?
He has already been running around (only when he gets away from me) and eating since we have been home. Mostly we are just watching a lot of Smurf episodes.
Now we just have to get ready from Shawn's surgery next week. Sounds like fun, right?!

Too bad Shawn's probably not as easy to appease. If only a lolly pop would work for him....
