The Great Adventure of Brian and Aunt Teri

About two weeks ago while Maria and Shawn were welcoming baby Lilah into our family Brian got to spend time with Aunt Teri. We has some great adventures. We started our adventures with some play time with mommy before she left with night, night in the big bed. We continued to play after Mommy left. After we had played for a bit; Brian decided that is was time to watch cars the movie. After we had watched the movie for a bit we went to Nana and Pappy's to see Uncle Jon. After we had a bit of a nap and found out that it would be later when we could see Momma, Dada and Lilah we played. Brian decided that pants were not necessary for play time so we went with it.

We finally got the call that Lilah was coming and that we could come to the hospital to see her. We got to the hospital and after taking some time to figure out what button to push to make the doors open we made it to the family waiting room. There were plenty of toys for Uncle Jon and Brian to play with. When we were the only family in the waiting room Uncle Jon and Brian were racing trains across the room with each other. Then the text message came Lilah was here and she weighed 8 lbs with a picture. Brian kissed my phone with Lilah's picture on it after he first tried to lick it.

The next day we went to the Zoo. Nana also made the trip with us to the Zoo. Nana's line at the zoo was "and were off" just like in Dino Dan when his Nana takes him to the zoo. We saw lots of Monkeys and snakes. Oh my snakes I really do not like snakes but Brian wanted to look at them so we did. Before leaving the zoo we went to see the Giraffe's. We also got to feed the Giraffe's. Brian did not want to get to close to the Giraffe so he took the cracker that he was supposed to put on the Giraffe's tongue and threw it at him. With a little help we finally got the cracker in the Giraffe's mouth.

We then went and spent a few hours with Momma and Lilah. Brian got presents so he was really excited about that. He got two new puzzles the he sat down and put together. Throughout the rest of the week we made many trips to the hospital to see Momma and Lilah. Brian was such a good big brother he held Lilah, he was gentle with her and would stop what he was doing to check on her when she was crying. We also had many Milkshakes during the week. We also made a picture for Lilah and Momma while working on how to cut paper. "Brian make the alligator go Chomp Chomp" said Aunt Teri. "Chomp chomp" said Brian. He did ok with this but it will still need some work.

At the end of the week we went to Conney Island for the Kroger Picnic with Pappy, Uncle Jon, and Max. Brian response when we tried to put him on any ride was NO NO NO. So we did not ride any rides but we did look for dinosaur tracks with Uncle Jon, watched Max ride some rides and got very mad about that, got Max and Uncle Jon to play some games and win Brian a Papa Smurf and Elmo. While Pappy, Uncle Jon and Aunt Teri sat in the shade and ate Brian played in the rocks with Thomas the train. After we ate it was time to head home to see Momma, Dada and Lilah. Our week of adventures were over and we were both very tired from it. It was a great week of spending time with Brian and making memories with him.
