You've Got a Friend in Me

Brian and Lilah are lucky to have some of the very best friends the world has to offer. This is likely because their parents are some of the very best friends to me and Shawn that the world has to offer! Some of these people spent time here this week...visiting, cleaning, alligator wrestling, and it was wonderful to see the kids interacting with them.

On Monday and Friday Tracy and Max spent lots of time with Brian. Max is undoubtedly Brian's best friend on the planet. Today was rough on everyone. Max is leaving for camp and won't be back until mid August. Brian did not want to let him go.
On Thursday Kristal and Maggie made a road trip up here to help me out. Maggie was amazing with Brian and he had a wonderful time with her. She is going to make one fantastic babysitter someday soon! I sure wish these girls lived closer.


Wednesday evening Martin, Missy and Wylder came over to visit. Martin and Brian will be good friends some day, but on Wednesday they weren't seeing eye to eye. Martin is in the "destructive stage" that Brian was in just a year ago. Now that Brian sees the benefit in building rather than destroying, he was not too happy to have Martin tearing up his track every time laid a piece. It was a good lesson in sharing!
